Just Passing Through Remastered

Hey all!

Sorry for the hold up, but the smoke test for the survey is out. Then we should have the full survey out by the end of the week. We'll keep those open for a couple of weeks to iron out any issues we find and finish things up. Once it closes, we'll issue Just Passing Through 1 in digital along with 3, 4, and 5. Then JPT2 will come out after we get all the NPC info from you and work it into the new book.

Hey there!

Just a quick update per Dave - The Pledge Manager will be opening soon after January 1st. It will be open for a few weeks to give everyone a chance to complete surveys and add NPC names for the second book. After it closes, the first PDF will drop, and the second will follow after all NPCs are collected.

We're funded and close to opening the Pledge Manager. If you haven't been charged yet, you will likely get charged tomorrow and that will be the last time BK tries to charge. From there, it'll open with BK. 

The Backerkit will be offering up some additional goodies to add to your carts, as well as the shipping charges. Since a lot of the books will ship from the printer directly, we're able to keep the costs relatively low for the US, UK, Spain, France, Germany, and Italy. The shipping costs will vary in other regions, and we will do what we can to try to keep costs low.

In the meantime, if you want more Just Passing Through goodness, be sure to check out my Patreon page, where the majority of the content on there going forward will be in this realm with books every 3-4 months.

Hey friends,

Just letting you know this is the last update before the campaign ends within less than 24 hours.

Once the campaign is finished, you'll get charged. It takes 10-14 days for Backerkit to forward funds. Once that's done, we'll open the Pledge Manager and drop the PDFs for the original JPT 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. JPT1 remastered should be done, then, too. 

JPT2 Remastered needs your input because of the NPC stretch goal, so that'll get a little wait, but the rest of the locations there should be done.

Once those are done, corrected, and proofs are done, we'll send them for printing. UK, Spain, France, Italy, and Germany will get theirs first, since they'll go directly from the printer to the end user. The rest will be printed in the US and shipped to our fulfillment center in Norman, OK.

Reminder that Tomb of Ten Thousand Traps isn't set to release until after we run it at BGG 2025 at the end of November. All of those will ship direct from the printer.

As we're nearing the end of this short campaign, I'm opening up another quickie stretch goal: 

You get to create a character for Port Haven!

So long as you back the campaign at least at the digital level, you'll get to add your character's description to the town of Port Haven, which will appear in Just Passing Through 2 Remastered. Port Haven is a cosmopolitan town of 4,500 people. There'll be a big rumor table in there that'll let your NPC speak a rumor. Beyond a few rules for content clarity, you can say whatever you want.

We'll do this at $32,000. So long as we hit it, I'll drop a Google Form for you all to fill out post-campaign.

I look forward to hitting this goal with all of you!
